Transcultural Nursing

We had a very fruitful seminar earlier about transcultural nursing arranged by my classmates. The speaker was a writer of book about nursing licensure exam reviewer. He is Carl Balita, a registered Nurse and a registered midwife. He is really a very good speaker and he knows how to deal with nursing students like me. He gave us a lot of tips in taking board exam. He is really funny and the green jokes was really cRazy! He's so smart and intelligent...

I've really learned a lot from the seminar today!

Baguio Moments

haaaiz e2 nakauwi na rin sa wakas!

after 4years... nakabalik ulit at nakapgbakasyon...

First Night sa Baguio....

Ayun, Jan. 31 2008 around 2:30pm sumakay na kami ng bus papuntang baguio, masaya, I never slept during the entire trip, ineenjoy every view hahaha... We arrived there around 9:00pm... Tnanong kami ng kundoktor if meron na kming tutuluyan sa baguio and sabi namen wla pa so nagoffer sya na meron daw xang kilala eh ayun nahiya naman kami tumanggi so pumayag na kami sabi nlng nmen ni mahal tgnan nlng muna namen if afford edi go...

Binaba na kmi ng bus tpos sumakay kmi ng fx kasma ung mama, medyO knabahan din ako sympre as in total stranger ung tao smen, I was a little bit paranoid that time kesyo baka mahold up kami or what! hahaha then sabi nmen ung tulugan sna na medyo mura kasi hnd naman kmi maarte and besides hnd naman kami magstastay sa room ng matagal so okay lng kung hnd ganun ka high class...

Hinatid na kmi dun sa place, and sympre ngbayad din kami dun sa mama ng pakunswelo, mamaya bibigay ko sa inyo ung price list sa baba to give you an idea...

Kami naman dalawa excited maglibot kaya ayun 10pm nglilibot libot kami and to our disappointment wla ng masyadong tao sa kalsada and madilim na ung daan, hahaha ung place na tinuluyan nmen malapit lng sya sa SM walking distance lng... I suggested kay mahal na imbis na magtaxi kami matutO nlng kami magdyip besides wla nmn masama sa pagtatanong dba? hindi nmn dpat lahat idaan sa gastOS...

Super lamig ung plano ko na magskirt eh hnd ko na nagawa dahil sobrang lamig nung gabi... ayun so ngdecide nlng kmi na bumalik na sa room...

1st Morning, Friday - Feb. 1, 2008

6am bumangon na kami tapos nagisip na kami where to go first! We then decided na sa mines view na muna kami pumunta, pagdating namen dun dahil maaga pa close pa ung mga stores tpos super la pang tao kaya nkapagpicture picture kami, super ganda ng view tlga, eh di nagutom kami so ngbreakfast muna kami dun sa kainan sa tabi... masarap naman ung food... tpos naglibot ulit... pag labas namen pumunta kami sa mga stores sa may bungad ng mines view, bumili ng mga pampsalubong... Tapos I suggested na maghanap kami ng ibang tutulugan na mas mura pa sa 600 para naman ung masave namen eh pwede na nming pangkain yun right? so pumunta kami kung saan ung last na place na pinagstay ko nung last ako ngpunta ng baguio with old friends... medyo hnd ganun kaganda ung place tpos nghanap pa kmi ng iba, buti nakakita naman kami... Ang saya kasi meron parade ng ibat ibang dept. and schools... Ang cute ng mga kids na ngpaparade may drums tpos ung iba sumsayaw...

bumalik na kami sa dun kung saan kami ngstay para maligo at kunin ung mga gamit namen... Naisip namen magstarbucks muna kami habang malapit pa ung SM. Then nung nkalipat na kmi libot ever nanaman... Burnham Park libot... Mais and Pusit... ang sarap tlga grabe.. hahaha then medyO napgod sa kakalibot kaya ayun pahinga mode muna kami, around 4:00pm d pa pala kmi nglulunch so ng Mc do muna hahaha, libot libot lng moments mode... then ng ukay ukay nghanap ng shoes at mga damit, tpos bumalik kami sa burnham ayun ngblak magboating kaso gabi na rin... and medyo pagod na...

Kumain ng manga habang nkaupo dun sa grass... ang sarap ng feeling nakakrelax, tpos bgla ko namiss ung apartment bgla ako na homesick hahaha I said "tara mahal uwi na tyo," sabi naman nya, "uwi na tyo? gs2 mo na?" tpos ang saya kc bgla may fireworks... ng ganda.. cgro mga 10mins. na fireworks un.. ang ganda tignan sa langit tpos dun namen nrealize chinese new year nga pla kaya may parade and fireworks, ayun sbi namen mgstay nalng kami!

2nd Day... Saturday Feb. 2, 2008

nakaksad man time na apra umwi pero sympre libot muna ulit! Breakfast muna sa Mc do, pancakes and longganisa, hahaha first na pinunthan namen Botanical Garden, mganda ung mga flowers pero di sila ganun kadami tlga, ang daming pictures sobra tpos ung mga lumang ifugao houses meron din iba iba nga eh ang ganda... meron din mga balanced rocks, nakakbilib din sya infairness... ayun picture taking ulit... T_T nagpapapicture pako dun sa horse hahaha! as if wlang kabayo d2 sa angeles...

tpos balik ulit Burnham, mgbike sna and boating pero ang init naman tpos nakakpgod, kaya nakuntento nlng kmi nakaupo tpos tinitingnan ung mga batang nageenjoy ngbibike... Kumain ulit ng mangga at tahO haha ayaw namen un strawberry flavor na tahO kaya ng hanap kami nung unflavored! heheh Nagpapicture kami dun sa ASONG MALAKI hahaha naklimutan ko name nya pero St. Bernard xa... Ayun ngyaya ako ulit magcoffee bgla ako ngcrave, tpos pgdating dun when I was about to scan all the pictures ngcard error sa cam ko akala KO naman sa cam lng un na maoopen ko pa rin sa pc... ANG GALING NOH? ang saya saya ng eh... Inisip kO nlng atleast we had a very safe trip kaht na lahat halos ng mgagandang pictures eh na corrupt....

University Days

hainku, super pagod nako last nyt kaya hnd na nakapagbLog... University days namen kahapon until saturday ata? hahah saya kagabe I was with clang, she, val, coi, faye and tere... si rhodj humabOL nlng smen... sumakay kami OCtopus grrrr super nakaktakot feeling kO mahuhulog akO tska feeling kO maccra ung sinsakyan namen ^^ super crazy! I think last time na nagattend akO ng U days eh Highschool pa ata... hehehe...

pag U days kc meron perya sa schOoL... maraming programs may mga rides din...

Nkakainis na Posas pakO! gggrrrr.. Ipapaksal daw... sbi pa "don't worry ate pogi naman ung hahanapin namen" naipit na nga akO dun sa posas nila super harrasment ung gnwa nila infairness... hahah Ayun sbi ko I'll pay nalang nung fine nila para wala ng kasal chorva ever... I remember nung highskul naposas ako pero dun sa ex ko sympre hainaku kilig moments, pero now? duh tanda kO na... magtigil sila.. kung kasama ko lng mahal coh grrr! susumbong ko tlga sila T_T hahaha

Pinakilala on stage ung mga candidates for MR. and Ms. HAU they are all so pretty and handsome... sympre bet ko pa rin si Ashley, Au, Digs and Gre to win... Gs2 ko rin si Steph she's so friendly and she have a very pretty face... I saw their Gallery sa school nkakainggit tlga, ang lalaki ng pictures super... Oh well ganun talaga heheh! Magaudition man ako dati at makuha hnd rin kaya ng sched kO ^^ the pressure really sucks!

finally, over and done with the video presentatiOn! hmp after 1 week heheh natapos din, kc nmn every sunday k lng gngwa kc my weekends are for my Mahal... DVD time, massage, kamot, coffee+pandesal+egg+chessewhiz haaaiz these are the things that make me wish that it is always weekends! kainis lng puro brownout ngyon, haaaiz wawa tulOy mahal coh 3 hours ngpapaypay sken... thank you mahal ^^ for caring...

I already finish watching a lot of DVD series dis past few months, from heroes 1 &2, CSI LAs Vegas, MEDIUM, Supernatural,4400,Scrubs 1 to 5,Grey's Anatomy 1 to 3, HOuse 1 to 3, Nip tuck 1 to 4, and now my latest libangan is Ghost WHisperer starring Jennifer Love HEwitt, deym every episode she look different pero lahat ng ayOs nya bagay s knya grrr... Super BAgay nya ung role nya d2.

Medium, SUpernatural and Ghost Whisperer maybe the same in a way that the three series are dealing wih ghosts but I find GW more interesting to watch, the episodes are good and madalas lalo na pra sa mga iyakin dyan, heart touching ung mga ending ng episodes...

OUn pahinga nakO super groggy na!



3 days nalang BAGUIO na... weeeeee!

woah! what a day! I had witness another life brought to this beautiful world, I had the honor to hold him first, helped him through entering a new environment for good... this is my 3rd Actual delivery.. The last two cases were really memorable since I was the one to actually deliver them myself but still with the guidance of the midwife and my C.I...

I told my classmate to have it recorded, so I can keep it. The moment really made me feel good, Sad thing, I accidentally deleted the video clip! hmmmppp grrr... I really felt depressed for about 2hours because of that... I was waiting for so long for this another chance yet I messed it up by my stupidity! grrr...

Anyways, I still feel really proud of myself today, I assisted the midwife with episiorrhapy, without fainting or getting dizzy! I got my power back woooooo! a SurvivoR...

Excited for NExt Week! Baguio mOde!!!

I can't throw away the kittens

I wasn't able to blog last night since I really got tired from cleaning my room and stuffs. Tep was inviting me to go to mhyla's house because the whole gang is there, but I'm too busy attending my scheduled duties yesterday. Sorry Guys Bawi nalng akO... Belated happy bday dane...

Today, I successfully had overcome one of the greatest temptations in my life. I almost cut class earlier, I'm missing my mahal so much and besides we're not going to have a quiz or activity so I'm free to go but I was able to overcome that feeling and finally decided to go back to class after the 30min. coffee break given. The thing is, I was very successful about convincing myself to attend my class but I wasn't able to keep my attention to the lecture and even had a nap while our prof is discussing, thank God she didn't call my attention in class.

About the kittens, grrrr I can't throw or give them away... I don't usually have this heart for cats since they usually pissed me off, but I don't know why this time I can't hurt them the way I did before... hahaha a change of Heart? maybe I'm not that mean...

Oh well it's really getting late and I have a big day to face tomorrow... Reportings and QUizzes grrrr!
