Graduation Day

hmmm this is the very moment that I've been waiting for, I never thought na makakrating agad ako dito. Honestly, obvious naman na sobrang wala akong pakealam sa studies ko magsimula pa ng first year ako, I just go to school meet my boyfriend after class, play ragnarok, sleep and then that's my cycle for almost 2years in my student life. Until everything has started to change... subject are more difficult than before, longer but few classes, love problems stuffs like that...

Actually para sken para lang kaming mga highschool, mrami ksi sa batch nmen super bata pa magisip I mean no offense guys ha! matatlino ang marami pero kulang sa maturity pag kinompare mo kami sa ibang courses parang kami ung pinakabatang tingnan... I mean ako mismo hnd ko masasabing mature na ko dahil nga haller isa pako sa pinaka gaga sa class. Pero kaht ganun nung una parang weird pero nung tumagal na prang mas maganda pa nga na ganun nalang eh kesa ung mga iba na trying hard mgpakamature by wearing clothes na pinipilit nilang mging dalaga...

Oun balik sa topic... After 4years sobrang dami kong natutunan sa mga tao sa paligid ko, mraming sacrifices, di tulad sa iba normal n skanila ang magreview in my case 3rd year lng ako ngstart matutong mgreview! ahahah From I think 13 Sections kami nung first year, 6 sections nalng kaming natirang ngsurvive... for me napakalaking achievement na un... Never kong inexpect na makakarating ako hanggang dulo dahil napaka relax lng ng pinili kong buhay sa pagiging studyante... Pero in God's grace nkarating ako hanggang dulo...

Special ang araw ng graduation sken of course. It's not just the end of another chapter of our lives but also a new beginning. New challenges, opportunities, happiness, struggles and a lot more to come but for now I 'll do things one at a time and I will not rush things up para magwa ko lahat ng mabute because I know in the end I will surely achieve all my goals in life.

I'll start with the retreat we had last march 25-26 oh aun nalate akong dumating sa school kaya halos lahat sila nsa kanya kanyang places na sa bus lucky pa rin kc I have friends who saved me a seat! picture picture sa bus plang kalokohan galore...

When we arrived @ Angel Hills Retreat hauz medyO pagod na kami we stayed at the lobby first nililinis p kc ung mga rooMs sympre mainit todo pawis na ever kami... The room there was really nice even the bathrooms malinis sila and may hot water pa... ayUn enjoi! when we finished fixing our things sir Tags called us and requested us to go to the conference room. We even had a chance to play "the boat is sinking" I had a lot of fun in that game! then the preaching started..

I love the fact that the recollection itself puts us closer to God... to know God and this time not to think of ourselves only but to think of other people that surrounds our life.

we had a confession session, of course I took the chance of cleansing my soul (hehe)...

The food is quite good, everything went fine. After the sessions of course the picture taking part is the craziest!

Going back naging maayOs naman ung buong program actually hindi masyadong nakakinip kasi sobrang bilis tlga ng mga pangyayri ung buong program mga 2hours lang cgro ang tinagal!

ggrrr sobrang busy again this past few weeks, the requirements and stuffs... It's good that I already passed my clearance in the registrar's oh well I missed blogging! d nq mkapag upload ng mga bagong photos dhil ayun nga busy sa school at kung hnd naman sa schOoL I'm busy watching dvd series!

Currently, I'm watching gossip girl and I guess I'm already in the 5th episode... I just started watching the series last night...

I'm done with John Doe and the ending is very shocking! hmp! Since it has been four years since John Doe was a first run television series and because Dominic Purcell is currently starring in another series, there is no hope for the show to come back. Dominic Purcell has found a new role on the ever popular Prison Break.

Oh well last thursday mahal and I went for a visit in their house, her mom invited us for dinner and the food served was really good... It's fun having dinner with his whole family. I also had the chance to visit the church near their house...
I miss Kabigting's Halo halo that's why I asked mahal if we could buy some. He's already full and I am in the spell of gluttony and there I go ordered one for myself hahah yhum yhum!

Friday and Saturday is movie time... We bought some DVDs like terminator, Knight Rider and Bionic Woman!

Yesterday, is JAM day of my mahal's band but one of his bandmates hasn't able to come that's why we decided to have halo halo time instead. We also visit the church for time with God to thank Him for all the blessings...

SO WHAT"S NEW?

I took the US Airforce exam here in balibago last March 17 and thank God I passed the exam but that's not it I will be going to take another EXAM which I think the final one in guam sometime next month... I'm really anxious... I'm afraid that I will not meet my family's expectations... I'm currently completing the requirements and I'm so nervous... Actually I don't have plans to tell you guys because it's really too early to tell but I want to give off the weight inside me... Oh well just PRAY for me... and I'll tell you if there's any changes in plans or scheds or what so ever!

Last week Friday, we went to SM Clark to watch My Bestfriend's Girlfriend. It's not easy to convince my bf to watch tagalog movies but this time I was able to do so. We bought my favorite Mc. Do chicken nuggets w/ fries and some snacks and drinks. Both of us know that ketchups and ice cream are not allowed inside the cinema so I kept the ketchups in the pocket of my bag and the guard was asking "MAAM SAN NIYO PO TINAGO UNG KETCHUP?" I was really nervous because I'm scared that he'll see the ketchups. My mahal answered to the guard "Tinapon na namen kasi bawal dba?"Luckily he believed us and we enjoyed eating the nuggets and the fries while watching the movie. *naughty* About the movie, There are a couple of scenes that stood out from the rest.

Up first is the one with Evo (Richard Gutierrez) inside the elevator when he rehearses his apology to Akiko. That was Richard at his goofiest and most adorable. He’ll have audiences doubling up with laughter, especially at the point when he leaves the elevator!

Second is the part where Grace and Evo are in the car. Grace grabs his license and ultimately discovers the big mystery behind his name. (Clue: You would never expect it!)

A must see movie!

Yesterday, my mahal and I went out for a simple date, we watched the movie 10,000 B.C. At first, we bought some snacks and drinks... The movie is really good.. the story and the effects are fantastic. I love such kind of movie... Adventure and Love Story all in one movie... I don't want to go into details of the story because I might spoil it up for those who didn't watch yet the movie. I can say that the story is somewhat like in the movie APOCALYPTO like fighting the other much stronger tribe who kidnapped and took their love ones and the other members of their tribe to be slaves. I enjoyed every minute of the whole movie and the time is all worth it!

Today I took my Air force exam and thank God I was able to get more than the required score! weeeee... Congrats to me... God bless and gOOdluck again next saturday for another exam! ^^

Highlights

Grabe tagal ko d nkapagblog nwalan din kasi ng net for about 1 week tpos nung may net na ulit sobrang busy and I don't have enough time to write things.. hmmm ano bang nangyari this past few weeks?

About sa presentation, ayun sympre maganda naman ung naging result kahit na inabot pa rin kami ng kamalasan on the day ng presentation, when I was making the final compilation of the videos ayaw masave then I found out na ung mga ginwa ko plang gif hnd nya tinatanggap that's why we're having difficulty in saving the movie file last minute na nung nlaman ko...

Then, nung nasave na lahat and I'm watching it na to see if the outcome is good, a very important part is missing... then ayun text kay clang to bring copies sa school at sa laptop ko nlng ni mamijO isisingit... Pagdating sa schOol and sinaksak kO na ung USB ni clang dun nman ngloko ung USB the movie files na idadagdag ko eh wla dun, takbo sa shop tpos pinasend nmen sa YM ung mga files buti nkaabOt kami tpos ayun naplay na lahat ng part...

The most toxic duty day of my life ay nangyari na. Last Wednesday night duty was the most toxic duty of my life, from the time na pumasok sa E.R around 11:00pm hanggang 6:30am.. There are a lot of patients inside the E.R that night and kami lang yung school na nakaduty... A lot of procedures and opportunities for us...

I also had the chance to learn how to chart in JBL E.R, i know some of you would say that charting is a very easy task but I am still adjusting with the hospital rules regarding charting in JBL. Usually we are not allowed by our C.I to chart but because of the situation we have no choice but to help the nurses on duty.

Ewan ko nga kung nananadya ung doctor at ipacarry out saken lahat ng orders nya grrr sobrang naguluhan ako. To tell you honestly dun lang ako ngkachance na maranasan ung ganung experience ung tipong ikaw lang tlga ung gagawa tpos buti nlang natapos na yung break ng mga nurses then I got the help I need and of course andun ung mga groupmates ko to help me...

Our C.I told us to take Rifampicin 2 hours after our midnight break because one of the patients have Tuberculosis pala and we didn't know kaya ayun buti nalang we always wear masks for protection din. Pag uwi ng bahay ang bilis ng effect in fairness naappreciate ko red orange urine hahahah....

Ang saya lng kasi kahit natoxic kami kinabuksan wlang pasok!!! hindi pumasok si maam chan na toxic cgro hahah ayun todo borlog lang wla man nngyari hnd man ako nakapagreview man lang toinkz!

Transcultural Nursing

THE HISPANICS

We are assigned to present the culture of the hispanics, their historical highlights, health beliefs, family structure and what are their practices when it comes to death and bereavement...

At first, there were a lot of ideas, time machine concept, story telling, actual play... but we ended to have a video presentation instead because we noticed that an actual play put a lot of efforts because you have to bring costumes and you should also decorate the room.

The night before the taping, (saturday) we made the props for the video, we also finished the script (I mean carla did) and also the whole concept... I enjoyed making the props with them because its been a while since I had time with my group mates. I went home around 10pm and the others stayed there and decided to sleep over.

Finally last sunday Feb. 17, 2008 we had our taping for the play... We went to Mommy jo's house (groupmate) in Sunset, Angeles City... The house is really big and there are a lot of trees outside and a big place for us to shoot our mini movie.

Different roles was designated and Carla and I was chosen to act as VJs. Since we are only few in the group, there are double roles and some even triple roles. I played as a girl who was being manipulated by evil spirits, one of the mexican, one of the children of the Hispanic family.

I had a lot of fun... and we also had picture taking part, with our costumes on of course. We shoot the VJ part last and we felt so self conscious ( Carla and me) but we have to do it.

After that, I compiled all the videos and converted them for me to be able to edit them. I spent almost fifteen hours making the video and I didn't had any sleep last night because of that.

Supposedly we will have our video presentation first this day and the reporting on Tuesday (MONDAY IS HOLIDAY WEEE) but because of technicalities we moved our video presentation on Tuesday...

I feel a little shiftless these past 2days... I'm not really feeling well... grr I wasn't able to enter my afternoon class... hmpppp! so, bye for now guys.. I have my class today.. until next time ^^
